Some of the fruit specialists have several varieties. J Tweedies in
Scotland was the only source for champagne variety that I wanted,
although other sources are

J Tweedie Fruit Trees, Maryfield Nursery, nr Terregles, Dumfries DG2 9TH
(01387 720880). Stocks about 30 cultivars. Send sae for catalogue. Mail
order available.

Chris Bowers & Sons, Whispering Trees Nurseries, Wimbotsham, Norfolk
PE34 8QB (01366 388752). Stocks eight cultivars but is building up
numbers of older cultivars. Send £2 for catalogue. Mail order available.

E Oldroyd & Sons (0113 282 2245; email ). Sends
out crowns for seasonal cropping and Janet Oldroyd is happy to advise
novice growers.

Hello Janet,

Thanks for the advice. I have ordered from Brandy Carr, they had a
package which had an early mid and late season variety which attracted me.
