I've got a lot of it!
Some are about to flower.
I'd like some recommendations on how to get rid of it?
Alternatively, anyone got any recipes that use wild garlic?

Dig it up and send it to Marc Wilson?

Alternatively, anyone got any recipes that use wild garlic?

Leaves good in salads, bulbs excellent in casseroles, roast meat,
pickles, etc.

I predict that you will find out shortly.

Yes, Reepham in Norfolk

Hum. My ransomes aren't showing yet, let alone close to flowering. Will
have to look tomorrow. Reepham must be about seventeen miles from me
here in this bit of South Norfolk, so, they might not be 'wild garlic'.

Arbut I posted that yesterday...

....but mine are still not showing.

Is it any excuse that they came from Ireland originally?

'ere, it's the gardening types.

Mornin', Gardeners. That reminds me, must have a look at what we're meant
to do with the "challenge" blue poppy seeds. "Challenge", 'cos of the
instructions for growing them... you're supposed to plant them at the winter
solstice with a black cat in your left hand at midnight or something. Then
you refuse to let them flower the first year by removing any flower buds...

summat like that, anyway.

We'll see Nige on here next. :-)
That would liven up things, I can just imagine what he would have to say
about our resident troll. :-)

Well, I reckon I could summon Nige with little trouble - a troll dangled
in front of him should make rather good bait.

However, we don't want to singe the ears of our resident ladies, do we,
boys and grils?

So, on mature reflection, the eagerly anticipated odour of roast troll
has to be relegated to the realms of wishful thinking, if we are to save
our gals from shellshock.

Smelling-salts, anyone?

Silicon life forms do not survive in the shedde. They get baffled and
give up before we do.

There is one just outside Lincoln. I lived in Cherry Willingham and Reepham
(the next village) was our telephone exchange.

Reepham 424. Those were the days.
