Default supermarket trolley hanging basket

It struck me yesterday that a supermarket trolley (one of the small
ones) would make a very interesting "hanging" basket.

OK so you couldn't hang it up - but you could wheel it around...
My OH looked at me like I was mad... but that's not soo unusual.

Am I missing something here? If you wheel it around surely it is not
a" hanging" basket?
Let's hear it for your OH.

And where, may one ask, would you be thinking of obtaining the
aforementioned supermarket trolly?

the delightful chavvies leave them behind my house on a piece of waste
land. They wend their way to the canal from there and I've rescued
one. I have rung the supermarket to come and get it back ... I assume
they need another ring to come and get it really.
I was just looking at it yesterday from the ground up and admiring the
structure of it...

The canal is full of the big ones but they only use the little ones
for bringing their booze back to their shabeen.

I do not wish to insult a friend of Hamlet but the clue, dear lady, is

Can't you swap it for 2 supermarket baskets or the top half of a smaller
trolley?
