Default Gooseberry bush pollination

My gooseberry bush has been flowering over the last week or two and the
bees have been busy. I don't think the flowers are setting though. Last
year we didn't get any gooseberries from it. Do you need more than one
bush for cross pollination?

No. I have only one bush and no problem with setting.

Not as far as I know.

Try giving it some potash.

I'll pay closer attention to it this year. No fruits and it will be
history.
