I seem to remember that when you were all worrying about drought in the UK,
I said it would sort itself out. *It has, just like I knew it would ;-)
Maybe not quite like we wanted exactly.

The length of time it has been raining virtually every day for months
on end is unbelievable. Long-term records have been broken. I am
strongly tempted to think it is due to global warming causing weather
extremes. How else can you account for it? Anyway, it makes gardening
very difficult that is for sure and food producers must be going
frantic.

Doug.

Doug I think you will find from responses to my previous posts
mentioning global warming, that in common with nearly all avid
consumers of corporate media bullshit (which suggests global warming

Yes we are having global warming, where I differ is that I am by no
means convinced it is due to our actions. After all the planet has
warmed up (and cooled down) on previous occasions, even as short a time
ago as the Roman dominations the planet was warmer than now. And not as
long as that people regularly skated on the Thames. How do you explain
that Mars has warmed up in recent years, now if it had been the moon we
could blame the Americans! ;-O

The above is a pretty fair example of how effective propaganda issued
through the corporate media actually is.....................

And global warming is not due to "our" actions, its due entirely to a
very small group of privileged elite groups, who will go to any sort
of lengths to increase profits and further their own interests.

A very good example of this is the so called war on terror, which
amusingly has largely been orchestrated by the worlds No1 terror
state, the good old USA....................

Global warming is very real, and so is international terrorism, but
ironically the major culprit here seems intent on attacking others far
less culpable!

Regrettably, given the current political situation, I am afraid that
we are - though at least they are no longer being told what to think

I dont think you people quite grasp that Murdoch is to the
establishment what Lord Haw Haw was to Nazi
Germany.............obviously he has fallen out of favour now, but it
seems worrying that phone hacking is the reason, and not publication
of propaganda designed purely and simply to drum up public support for
an illegal attack on the people of Iraq.................

I am shocked that you feel that way.
Remember the 2 towers in NY (9/11), and the london bombings(7/7/05)?
Never forget that a terrorist strike could happen anytime and anywhere, and
the right time for the world to see is right now, at the heart of
democracy, London, and the Olympic Games.
I hope I am wrong.

Interesting point of view................the London bombings in actual
fact occurred as a direct result of the US (worlds No1 terror state)
and UK carrying out illegal attacks on the people of Afghanistan and
Iraqi, and had this county not got involved with these 2 very able
examples of US terror it seems unlikely the UK would have been
targeted.

I think some of the conspiracy theories related to 9/11 are clearly
ridiculous, but would imagine its almost certain that Mossad were
directly involved in the attack in some way.

It is a LOT more than that! Some of us were predicting such
attacks for exactly those reasons long before 2001, there were
claims by hostile organisations that they would mount such
attacks, and there were statements by those involved in the
actual attacks that those were among the main reasons.

Anyway, I don't regard this as having much to do with gardening.

Nick Maclaren.

Sadly the UKs continued involvement in ongoing terrorist actions
perpetrated by the US, means that some sort of attack during the
Olympics is almost inevitable, and the likelihood of this is very
greatly increased by our keystone cops security
measures....................

Whether or not the subject of terrorism has anything to do with
gardening seems beside the point...................each and every
person in the UK is at greatly increased risk due to UK involvement
with US terrorist actions!
