on the south east facing side of a house

I'm planning to grow climbers up a fitted trellis on the south east facing
side of a house, using three large pots for the plants.

Would clematis montana grow in a large pot? What other species of clematis
would be suitable.

What other climbers would be suitable.

Any advice welcomed - Joe
