Default Pea Thrips?

Ail the peas I've ever grown have silvery grey markings on the leaves -
especially older leaves. I read that this could be Pea Thrip damage. It
never goes on the pods and I can't find any yellow or black tiny
beasties. So is it just natural markings?

Thanks!
