Has ground force finished on TV. I thought it was on Mondays?

Well they said on the TV awards last night that Mr Titchmarsh has just
finished recording his last episode, so I guess there's a few more in the
pipeline. Maybe the Beeb have just flushed everything for some sporting
event or other !!!

p.s. On a similar note, I understand Mr Titchmarsh is due to leave Gardeners
World soon, and that Monty Don is the current favorite to take over. That
would be nice, to go back to someone more concerned with Organic and veg
type gardening, seems to have been somewhat overlooked as of late in favour
of quick fix and decking.

I did like his "nice decking" comment, which not a single person in

I didnt see the prog, what did Mr T say?
I never felt that he was a lover of decking, the make over progs just
seemed to get sillier and sillier. I dont watch any gardening t.v.at
all any more, I know probably my loss :-)but if that irishman and his
cement lorry came anywhere near my garden I would not be responsible
for my actions in spite of all his blarney.

I wouldn't cut off all gardening TV, esp. if you have access to Sky. UK
Style recently re-ran the Fork to Fork series, which is always well worth
watching, and they have a show called "The Gardeners Garden" which can be
good it really depends who is featured, one recent episode showed Bob
Flowerdew and Kim Wilde's gardens, that was very good.
