Does anyone have instructions on how and where to grow Oyster and Shiitake
mushrooms live in the West Midlands I grew a whole load last year. Bought the polystyrene box kit, put the contents into an electric propogator, made the polystyrene box into a cat bed, and grew loads of mushrooms.... I found an ad for mushroom 'plugs', where you get a fresh-cut log, drill holes in it of a certain size, plug in the supplied plugs, and put the log outside in the summer somewhere moist and cool. Will try this methed this year for a change. Best, - h |
