Default fastest growing trees?

Unfortunately, the fastest growing trees are also the shortest lived, weedy, &
have weak wood, so you are always picking up broken dead branches. Have
patience. Some of the maples, not the overused Norway or silver maple, are
reasonably fast growing. You will be happier in the long run with good quality
trees, even if fewer of them. Ask your local extension agent.
