An observation on rose bushes
The poor sap had two rose bushes where the top died out & the understock grew
and bloomed, a common occurrence. I tried to tell him this, but he kept looking for an exotic and anthropomorphic explanation. I guess he finally gave up & went away. Sniff! I was looking for another explanation besides the usual
