Mostly men, but sometimes women, get excited by and wrapped up in RUNNING the pond with EQUIPMENT. The more elaborate the better ;-) k :-) Hmmm, I'm a cross over. I'm fascinated by it all. And somewhat like the iphone take-aparters.... I prefer a filtration system with few hidden parts. Probably why I'm not so keen on pressurized systems. Here's my pump (external). Here's my filter (oversize propane tank looking thingie). Not that there is "anything wrong with that!" Quoting Seinfield. ;-) I love the whole picture, but I want to know how the water gets from point A to point B, and I want to see it. We have a club person who installed a Nextus, can wait to see that in action. ~ jan ------------ Zone 7a, SE Washington State Ponds: www.jjspond.us |
