Default Koi to a new home, please?

My son in law who lives on the outskirts of Cambridge is filling in his pond
soon in anticipation of some building work and so needs to find a permanent
home for about 30 Koi Carp in sizes up to about 12" long.

I understand they could be worth "serious money" so I am wondering (on his
behalf) how and where he should advertise them to get a fair price.

Any suggestions, please?

He needs to identify what type each fish is. I sold two Yellow Ogon a while
back, 9" and 10" for £50 the two. Different varieties are worth different.

Thank you for the tip. I'll pass that on.

Though I think he'll know the types, he has no idea what prices to expect.

There are specialist Koi forums on the net. I guess it wouldn't be right for
me to post link, but.....Google is your friend
You can get a better idea of likely prices from one of them.

There's nothing wrong with posting links on a usenet forum. Anything
that helps someone is good.

A matter of principle Kurt. It is not done to advertise one fish group on
another. Brian can email me if he needs a pointer.

Google Koi Clubs, some of em have Koi auctions, but there are resident
