Mike Patterson "Fire on the Water"
Mike Patterson
Just wandering, hows the "burning water" experiment coming? We've been having some warmer weather up here in Pennsylvania. So I 've had some time to start cleaning up outside and working on the new pond. The grounds still too wet and frozen to start digging, so I decided to work on the campfire. It will be about 2 1/2- 3 feet from the edge of the pond, with the waterfall for a backdrop. I took some pictures of the flames, they can be seen at: http://ourkoipond.com/pond-campfire.htm or the "Campfire Experiment" button on my home page. My experiment with the "fire on the water" is still on hold , as there is still an iceberg on the 500 gallon Temp. pond. It froze solid since it is totally above ground. Meanwhile the koi have been vacationing in the Tomb, in my basement. By the time it thaws, I hope to have the prototype burner finished.
