Bermuda; Not a Nice Lawn Grass . . . .
There are two products that will work well and are relatively inexpensive.
One is called MSMA and the other is CSMA. These products will not harm bermuda, but will kill St Augustine, and just about any type of cool season grass like fescue or crabgrass. They work best when the weather just starts to get really hot like in June or July. "Chuck" wrote in message ... I'm working the opposite problem. Trying to get the fescue and St. Augustine crabgrasses out of my Bermuda! "Nixon, D" wrote in message ... Unwanted Bermuda Grass in a Blue Grass or Fescue lawn. Anyone know of a reasonable way to rid my lawn of a large patch of Bermuda Grass without also killing the blue grass and fescue growing around and within it??? I thought the unusually cold winter we had this year might wipe out the Bermuda. No such luck. McDave |
