Thankyou.
Best CFV I ever did.

I am in violent agreement on that. :)

Ah, you saw how badly the other two ended up, then.

uk.rec.gardening was a pretty successful one, too. It became an active
group almost immediately, and has not stopped since :-)

But, for sheer surrealism, uk.rec.sheds has no competition. Only
alt.aeffle.und.pferdle comes close.

our afters at the reception.

Ooh. Did you have to choose, or were you allowed to sample all three?
I'm very partial to tiramisu I am. Down in Lynmouth t'other day I
encountered Mavis and her icy screams, one of which was tiramisu and
amarettini. MMMMmmmm!

Everybody got all three, so we didn't have to make difficult choices.

On some tables I heard that some people didn't manage to eat all three.
In fact, one lucky bloke scoffed 7, because there were weird people at
his table who claimed they couldn't manage three desserts.

Couldn't manage...?? For shame! Plan ahead is my motto when it comes
to desserts. When I go into restrongs I look at the me'n'you first to
see what I might want to have room for afterwards. It's a question of
priorities, innit.

Was he one of those strange people that don't have a separate pudding
tummy?

Knitted from polyethylene bags, which are reliably said to block cosmic rays
even better than alumin(i)um. For best results, line your ally-hat with a
plastic bag!
