Fumigation!
Honest to god, I feel as if this group needs fumigating!
Usually at about this time of year, we all discuss what gardening goodies we hope to get for Christmas - anyone care to contribute? I'd like lots and lots of rose bushes and to persuade Ray to find me somewhere to plant them. ;-) At present, we're working on a compromise, which is to put up some posts on the tea room lawn and loop chain between them. Up and along these we will grow roses and honeysuckle, and the more scented the better. I think this is more likely to be a birthday present in January, given that I've only just asked for it. ;-) So - what about you - what do you want Father Christmas to bring you?! -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.co.uk South Devon (remove the weeds to email me) |

Where you have to have the last word and control the comments of the other newsgroup readers. Where nobody is as good as you and because you gardened with Adam and you have ram it down everbodies throats. How nice for the 'owners' to give up 'ownership' as a christmas present. I get presents (mostly garden related) which end up in the bin. It's the thought that counts. They all know what I don't like so they give me it. They don't love me--sob. |

I found some plant waterers, plastic nozzles that screw onto a pop bottle,
on QVC's website. I've seen them for £1, £2 and £2.50 each at garden shows, which always seemed a tad costly for 5 pennyworth of plastic. These were £15 for 30 "Sacha" wrote in message .uk... I want everything somebody like me, who's just moved to their first house with a garden, would want (fork, spade, hoe, rake, mower etc). So I'll probably get a set of el cheapo implements that break within two weeks and I'll have to buy them again properly in the sales. But that's what XMas is all about! Androo |

Alas, bigamy is against the law! Actually, I know what I'm getting: I bought the RHS Guide to Pruning and Training Techniques last week. As soon as I got home, His Royal Weediness snatched it from my hand and declared it to be a Christmas present. I'm finding it hard to know whether to be {:-(( or {)))! Spider |

Whenever we ask what he would like, he says 'nothing'. He genuinely dislikes Christmas and thinks it horribly over-commercialised. -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.co.uk South Devon (remove the weeds to email me) |

Not his, unfortunately ... I don't know where he's hidden the book. I like the way you're thinking, though. Spider |
