The content now is awful, and I am afraid to say that I think the series should be pulled. Michael Have you written to the Beeb? Viewer feedback is very important if you want improvements! Have you any evidence that the BBC takes notice of feedback? Most of the POV programme is spent justifying what the public complain about. Short of knowing the minutes of discussions taking place at the BBC, I don't really see how one can be sure. But there is no doubt that when several members of the public complained about the really awful presenting and producing at Chelsea a few years ago, notice was taken and things did improve. At present there's a lot of chat going on about loud music being played over dialogue etc. and it's aroused a certain amount of press interest, too. The point is that if nothing is said, and no efforts are made to let them know what the public think and want then we have only ourselves to blame. It's a bit like not voting and then complaining about the governments we get, IMO! -- -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.com Shrubs & perennials. Tender & exotics. South Devon |
