I've often thought of potting up some Couch/Twitch Grass, growing it on, and
then labelling it with it's Latin name Elymus repens and seeing how many
people would buy it. I bet some would.

I've thought of selling fresh bay leaves on eBay - I wonder if anyone
would buy them? I'm sure my tree could spare a few thousand leaves.

I have thought the same. Bay grows as a weed here, we are forever pulling up
Bay saplings! Make super hedging plants ;-) That and a beautiful shiny dark
leaved Holly, complete with berries too ;-)

Don't know where they come from, the birds I expect, but who cares? ... ;-)

Definitely yes if you put them in cellophane packets with a fancy name
like "Normandy Natural Bay Leaves".

Try it. I'm sure you will be able to make some cellophane packets. If
you do a search on Ebay you will find a few people are already selling
packets of Bay Leaves.

They are grown commercially for dye, fibres and as forage.(Cut and
dried like hay) in some countries.
Also used in herbal remedies.

*At garden shows I've seen someone selling composted bracken and very nice
stuff it is too :-)

* My all time favourite was a garden bird supplies company selling dried
mud to attract swallows to the garden (customer had to wet and mix it).

* Janet

There are places that bag up cow and chicken crap. People buy it too I
hear. Amazing.

Just don't give out your address for further supplies on the labelling

Ah but, that requires a soil certificate showing no chemicals have
been used. "Natural" is the way to imply organic without actual
claiming that it is. That's what Tesco do so it must be right
