fifteen pounds of T/M products on 13 January 2012

This post was quite recent and seems a bit to good
to be true HOWEVER good things do happen

Any news of this please post on group

Why don't you all bo to http://www.thompson-morgan.com/TESCO13
and read ALL the terms etc

You have a choice of 9 products, but then
http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/...x?N=4294963362
Gives you 12.

Please note the normal Thompson & Morgan P&P charge (usually £4.95 for
plant orders and £1.95 for seed orders) is applicable to all orders
that contain non-tesco clubcard products.

But this one
http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=2280&bci=4294963362|Flowers%20%26%2 0Plants
appears to be "15 pound voucher for 5 pound clubcard", which is surely where
this came in?

For a 1% discount Tesco's get: Your name and address, a record of what you purchase and how frequently you shop with them, this means they can target you with relevant adverts for products, sent to under the guise of "your clubcard newsletter" or some other excuse for sending out advertising literature in the expectation you will sheep like go and buy said produce.

Don't appear to at least not that overtly. It took a several years
for them to drop meat products from our Clubcard offers. We have
never bought meat from them, don't eat the stuff...

Yes they have lots of information about our buying habits but our
shopping basket is pretty consistent and boring. I'm anything but a
sheep as well. If a voucher is useful I'll use it, if I remember!

Yes, but In my defence i didn't say anything else |i just pointed them
in the direction of the vouchers David!

I've ordered from Marshals. Simpsons and Chiltern seeds but if you
wanted the stuff T & M are willing to sell cheaper then it would be a
good idea!

personally i think the RHS membership is quite good if you have spare
tokens,
might as well use them for something useful to you!

Actually I personally am not bothered that they know what I buy, so
what? I buy what I can afford and if I can get it at Tescos at a low
price then also get vouchers, even if they take ages to mount up I
haven't really lost anything.
For me Tescos is at the bottom of the hill so very near and indeed
nearest to me so less petrol, though i might whizz over to Morrisons for
their VERY cheap petrol deal.
Horses for courses really.
I am not going to buy steak just because they advertise it

The nearest Tesco to us doesn't stock some of the items we use... so
we have to go further a field. What really annoys me is that they
won't deliver to us but will to the town 2.5 miles away. Is the extra
few minutes on a 45 minute drive from the store to us really going to
mess up their "guaranteed delivery window"? I must give Asda delivery
a try sometime.

... though i might whizz over to Morrisons for their VERY cheap petrol

Hate Morrisons as a store, cheap fuel on the other hand... Cheaper
than Asda? They were about 4p/l less than Tesco the other week.
Trouble is Tesco, Asda and Morrison's are all several miles from each
other which can wipe out any potential saving...
