Default How to access this with out outlook

The message
from Rusty Hinge contains these words:

Or look at Zetnet's own software (ZIMACS) on www.zetnet.com

Offline news/mailreader, you download and upload compressed packets and
any attachments are separated from the mail and placed in a received
files folder, so you can open and read any mail with confidence, even if
it does have a virus with it.

The only way to activate a received virus is to decode it, then run it.

Guess who hasn't ever contracted a virus, and has only had an AV program
for a one month trial during seven years on the net?

And YES, I do use ZIMACS. But you have to be a Zetnet subscriber to use it.

Hello everyone,
I have searched for a way to access the news group without using outlook

Any and all info would be helpful!

You can use the browsers Netscape, or
Opera' M2 builtin News/Mail client:

Or there are other stand-alone newsgroup clients, such as
Forte Agent (http://www.forteinc.com/main/homepage.php),
40tude Dialog - which I use at work (http://www.40tude.com/dialog/)
MicroPlanet gravity (now unsupported but works well)
plus loads of others.

or as some have said, directly on the web via http://www.google.com/groups
(then type in u.rec.gardening)

Not now - well, when FRED becomes available on the open market anyone
will be able to use it. Allegedly.
