Isn't it nice to know that I am not quite universally despised?

And a happy new year to you, Ophelia.

To you too darling)

What about it. You had better ask our Franz

He's in the garden, standing on the bridge over the troubled water
feature, throwing tidbits to the trolls :-)

Martin,
Believe me, when you're trapped in a GC for what seems like forever, you
would be very grateful for a WC! ... but I take your point.
Happy new year.

No, I'm sure you weren't going to throw rocks at the GC(!), but even

verbal
brickbats would do them harm. It's not one of the huge nation-wide
companies, but a friendly, local, one-man operation.

Sorry if I sounded a bit uptight, but I have a certain affection for this

and its staff (those I know well enough). It really is a great garden
centre with a good selection of unstressed plants, and gardening
accessories, plus advice if needed.
They also have great security and very high gates!

It could have been worse according to

chimes struck."

You too and thanks for sharing your experience.

I was once accidentally locked up by myself in a large aerospace
company building for two hours in the middle of the night. I think
Jenny knows the building.

What for? Were the walls not opaque?
Was there no little hideyhole somewhere?

One of the laboratories associated with one of the accelerators at CERN had
no handy lavatory, but a very conspicuous wall with a very conspicuous
graffiti painted just above some significant stains on the wall which said

"PAS PIPI ICI"

Hi Martin,
If Jenny knows your aerospace lock-up, I can only draw one conclusion ...
she locked you up!

Franz,
I'm sure 'your' wall was a great monument to mans' competitive abilities!
{:-)), but I am a lady, and I am not in the habit of spraying walls or
irrigating 'hideyholes' .... or plants, before you say it!
Happy new year.
