Ivy and stuff
In message , Rod
writes I was really talking about using glyposate selectively to keep the Ivy ground cover while getting rid of nettles, bindweed etc from amongst it. One solution to bindweed is to dilute the glyphosate as usual and then put a small amount into freezer/sandwich bags (ie with no holes). Untangle lengths of bindweed and fold them gently into the bags being careful not to break the stem, seal with tape and agitate the bags to spread the liquid around. Then place to one side and leave. -- dave @ stejonda |
