clematis planting

However, the thought does occur to me that the reason you're having to order more clematis is perhaps because you have lost previous plantings. Actually I am buying and planting on behalf of clients - I'm happy to stake my reputation on Rachel's plants and advice. Fine. Just make sure you don't plant just before a wet spell :-) Relying on others for your own reputation can be, IMHO, a recipe of disaster in business. As can be insisting on manufacturing all your supplies yourself as opposed to obtaining them from good specialist suppliers. If you buy-in the best widget in the world, then make a cock-up with the installation, its your reputation (and sometimes more) that suffers, not your supplier :-) -- Tony Morgan |
