pre-seeded floral carpets? seeking advice

upstate NY

I do not have a green thumb nor any luck with previous attempts via
normal seeding routes.has anyone here ever used these preseeded mulch
rolls?
any adive is greatly appreciated.
a prvt reply via email is ok to not clog the newsgroup
