Default OK - Here's My Plan

BV ... I'd like for a couple of you to plan to come to my house (in
Missouri)
next March and Divide the Lotus garden. Then we can box and ship out
to folks who want them? I have only three kinds of lotus - MPDS, Perry's
Super Red and Chawan Basu. The garden is so overgrown I don't know how
we'll be able to tell the difference ...

How 'bout it, BV?

I'd love to help. Now I just need to convince my wife that I am REALLY
flying to another state to help another woman split her lotus tubors.

Make it a party. Maybe you'll get a couple
takers. Several years ago I drove from San
Antonio TX to Kansas City KS to spend July
4th weekend with a woman and her family
whom I had only known from online contacts!
Worked out great, too. I even took a British
guest with me. I'd only known him from
online, too. (Xena fans - what can I say...)
Funny thing, the Brit shot off all the fireworks
while the Americans looked on. Strange,
but fun.

Well Gail, Believe it or not - a party is what I was thinking of ... not a
two person
wing-ding ;-) although from what I recall those are fun too. snicker

Actually, in March, early March, the lotuses are usually snowed in and
it'd
be miserable digging them out. Guess I'd better think on this some ;-)

HI Nedra

I travelled to your site and peeked at your ponds. They are beautiful!
I think our climate here in west Tennessee is similar to yours in Missouri.
I hope in a few years to ahve our pond as pretty as yours.

I would love to have a pier that went out over ours and some pretty bloomers
in the water. First I have to deal with the erosion problems we are having
on the banks (translated that means a dump truck full of rocks) and then
figure out where to start.

I must admit, maybe grubber is right. Were you inviting me over to split
your tubors, or were you inviting me over to SPLIT YOUR TUBORS?

OK time for a potential overshare...

Am I the only that is mortally afraid of meeting my on-line friends in RL? I
am petrified of such things, and often avoid those situations like the
plague. Am I Abby Normal or what?

LOL. Oh yeah, THAT would work.

Dear Mrs. Vanilla,

You don't know me, but I am one of BV's "gardening buddies". My wife and I
believe it is OK for BV to go "split tubors" with Nedra in Missouri. In
fact, my wife and I plan on going to see if we can meet up with other
"gardeners" so we can split tubors as well. We may even swap tubor splitting
partners just for fun.

Signed,

Jim "Will Split Tubors for Postage" Hurley.

BV, Do you think our credibility would be limited. Surely your wife has
heard of tubor parties.

Don't you think your wife would want to take a major vacation to the
heartland. How many people get a chance to take part that great American
pastime: tubor splitting.

One caution, however, you must not split tubors while employing the patented
BV planting method. One beer per tubor-split could make for sloppy
splitting.

Hi to Mrs. BV.

As of now, I have her excited about SH pond, and I got her to help dig pond
two. I am not pushing it.
