Squash vine Borers
Every year I am plagued by squash vine borers. My plants are usually done by
the end of June. I have tried it all, BT, cover cloth, etc. and I also find the physical extraction of the little *******s not the answer. So this year I was told to plant in white PVC pipe and the pest would not find my plants. Does anyone have any experience with this technique and is it for real? I noticed this evening that I had a borers starting in on one of my vines. Thanks Jim |
