True. You only get the occasional one with a seed or two.
So Grim Reaper goes to Cyprus simply to purchase a lime pip?

Well, this one keeps missing the Indian limes, which are stuffed full of
pips. As I keep forgetting to get amarulas while they are in season.

By "amarula", do you mean what I mean by "marula"? That is the fruit found
in Southern Africa which ferments on the tree to such an extent that you can
get drunk eating it?

I've grown ten lemon seedlings and one from a supposedly seedless
satsuma this year.

I would have thought that that was a biological impossibility, even if

the
satsuma did have some seed.

'Stroo - I knew there was something wrong with that sentence.

I grew eleven seedlings. Fifteen of which I still have.

Now - work that out!

You've beaten me there.

It sounds like my aunt wh had three and a half-dozen children.

Some of them were twins, and when I dropped the shelf the pots were on,
the twins turned out not to be siamese.

They are rather apple-like in construction with an apricot-cloured skin
and flesh, but big pips about the size of lychee stones and coloured
like a conker.

I've never seen one on a tree, but I understand elephants have......
