Cats are vectors for more than one disease which afflict
humans. They actually ought to be classified as vermin.

Following Sacha's hysterical tirade in response to my post about what the
dreadful things cats are,

I thought she was quite restrained considering how often you posted
the same rubbish.

I decided to look on Google. Put 'Hate Cats'
into Google and just see how much the things 'are' hated. See for yourself
Sacha, I have not put those in, they are from different like minded people.

Commonly described as obsessive nutters.

hmmm, in Google

hate cats produces 546,000 results

hate mike produces 1,200,000 results

I think the cats win that one.

Obviously what this country needs is more cats. Not domestic
moggies but GM leopards developed, bred and trained for troll
hunting. Reducing the cat population to a sustainable level
would be a bonus, as would adding a certain minor excitement
to our rather dull lives.

The Isle of Wight would be an excellent place for an experimental
introduction.

Regards,
Nick Maclaren.

Bit slow there old chappie, we have a Tiger breeding Zoo which is very well
known and respected ;-) Not too much trouble in getting a breeding programme
started for some more 'real' cats as you suggest. Take it up with Jack
Corney, Sandown Zoo, Culver Parade, Sandown Isle of Wight. Bound to have a
web site, take a peek.

Kind regards

Mike

It's untrue that cats are vermin

They shit everywhere, rip open rubbish bags to scavange, screech all night,
danage car paintwork and breed all over the place as well as carry disease.

What part of "vermin" do you not understand?

Rat poison doesn't work. Something is put in it to discourage cats from eating
it.

It is high time these disgusting things were licensed and/or dedicated bait
made for them.

CATS ARE NOT VERMIN.

A dictionary definition of vermin:
Various small animals or insects, such as rats or cockroaches, that are
destructive, annoying, or injurious to health.

Cats are destructive.
Several people in URG are annoyed by them.
Their feces contain deseases.

Cockroaches aren't destructive or injurious to health. There's no reason
they should even be annoying.

Lots of things ARE annoying though ... (see below)

Cats are destructive.

like teenagers.

Lack of parental control

and the cat lovers need not come back on that one. I have three daughters
and a son, they had parental control and have turned out to be four children
I am proud off. Qualifications, Degrees, Professional status, they have the
lot.

I don't think I need a signature any more

We have three sons and two daughters and the same applies to all of them.
Even as teenagers we were proud of them, they were a credit to themselves.
Some said we gave them too much freedom, some said we were too strict, we
have no regrets because they turned out far happier and more responsible
than the children of our critics.
