Good, then I know where to come when I want one. Do you have a price
list and carriage details etc., anywhere?

However I do still do cakes for people who 'know' be by one means or
another [firend of a friend etc]. You can see some more if you fancy a
trawl through some of the Zetnet meetings as I ususally make one for
those, oh and Jennifer appears in some of those too

What are Zetnet meetings?

The little one started the terrible two's at just over
a year old - still thinks she can do everything her big sister can

Our little one is 2, he is an angel, never a raised voice, nor cries,
nor shouts, just lovely; when he is with us. I just telephoned to
make sure he was better after being a bit poorly, I couldn't believe
what I heard, it wasn't the same child, he was like a little
monster!!! I spoke to him on the phone, he came to the phone
screaming and then very calmy and quietly said "Hiao Ganny" in a soft
gentle voice!!!!

nearer to me in France than you are in England!!!!!

Oops, sorry. I thought I read in one of your posts that you are in
Northwich - which is about 6 miles from me, and I can't find the posting
now to check it

When I lived in Norfolk I got involved in directing a couple of foreign HGV
drivers who were looking for an address in Norwich that no one could locate
for them. I asked to look at the paperwork and realised the address they
wanted was in Northwich not Norwich. Not too much of a diversion on their
route from Dover.

Tee hee!!!

You might like to know Mike that property prices in your old village
have risen steeply in price. I was looking at the property section in
the local paper, as we are selling our house, and Mattishall prices
have risen enormously (probably because of the new Teaching Hospital
nearby). I noted this as my late father lived there many years ago.

) I don't usually do very long distance, but a mutual 'transfer'
location maybe could be arranged. I don't have a definitave price list
as the cost can vary with each cake produced. I am usually cheaper than
the shops, I can mail you direct with some costs to give you an idea
linked to the pics on the site.

My ISP is Zetnet [link form my page to their site] and we have get
togethers in different parts of the country. The one in Cheshire has
quite a reputation for a good event and is usually held the Sat after
Easter. So if you look at the pics you get to see some contributers to
various nsgs. I am not sure how many are in here, apart from Mary [who
I don't *think has been to a Runcorn meet] and Jennifer.

Beryl, they're magnificent! I'm so hopeless with my hands that I'm in awe
of people who do such lovely work. We have a friend who used to edit a
magazine for clever people like you and it was all about cake decorating.
She made one for my husband's birthday (before I knew him, so I didn't see
it) and she'd put little forks and wheelbarrows and spades etc. on it. I
won't give her full name here but her first name is Pat and I wonder if you
ever knew her or the magazine. I do wish you didn't live so far away!

I can remember going to a spring when I was a child, it had clean,
clear really cold water running over the gravel, I always brought home
to my mother, a can, used for milk, full to the brim, I can still see
it in the glasses, it was such a treat. Children these days don't
have these memories EXCEPT my elder grandson, we have introduced him
to all the things we loved as children.

Thank you Sacha.

I used to take the Cake Decorating Magazines, there were two at one time
but I think they merged. It got to be too expensive when I was made
redundant a few years ago - before I moved to Cheshire so I had to stop.
However I have all the one I bougth and refer to them sometimes for
ideas if I am stuck. I use quite a few cutters from 'Patchwork
Cutters', which is where all the tools etc for the DIY cake came from.
The were so tiny - the screwdriver blade kept bending or breaking, but
it was worth the effort as the person it was for was delighted with it.
