Let's see...blow job, false war...hmmm. Bush should be impeached, Cheney should
be exposed for the liar he is, and Rummey should go directly to jail. Typical Republi-Nazi gibberish.
By the time Clinton left office gas prices went down and the national economy was in the black with employment going up. Under that nitwit Dubaya, exactly the opposite has happened. Who do you think was the better president? The proof is in the numbers. "Michelle" wrote in message ... Corrupt administration?! , you forgot Clinton left the white house three years ago! Swyck Wearing a veil? No, wanna know why, because people in far off lands don't try to bully their way in to our culture and change it. Fanatics like Osama Bin Laden are not normal anything, let along Muslim. I have the freedom to wear a veil or not. What they do in their nation is their culture. They don't not because they don't want to, but because they'll get their buts kicked. If they had their way you wouldn't have a choice. I don't see anyone going in and helping Tibet to be free of Chinese oppression. Oh, nothing in those cold mountains. Hmmm. That's true, but I guarantee you we're keeping an eye on the Chinese trying anything against us. Again, its not that the Chinese don't want to. Swyck |

It's all one problem and all one war. Iraq is simply one front. What are we doing in Saudi Arabia? Enlighten me. Seems to me that at least one goal of the Iraq war is to get us out of Saudi Arabia permanently by establishing operations in another major oil producing, strategically-located country. "escapee" wrote in message ... (snip) Oh, now we're back to defending our freedom. I see. The idiot who runs our country had a fulll 25 minutes to call our for air support in New York, which I believe is already a no fly zone, without permission. If he tore himself from reading to children immediately, like he should have, we might have been able to do something about the second tower. (snip) While Dubaya Bush needs to stand up and take some responsibility as Commander-in-Chief, the responsibility for a mess this big can be spread around wide. Do you remember a news item in 1994 of Islamic terrorists trying to crash a plane fully loaded with fuel into Paris, hoping to hit the Eiffel Tower? (This followed the 1993 attack by Islamic terrorists who set off a bomb in the WTO underground garage.) When the French story first broke here, the radio news correspondent said US contacts had informed him that other world targets were planned, including some in the US. The correspondent *speculated* that Washington D.C. and the WTO might be considered targets. This comment was removed from subsequent broadcasts. The current administration would prefer us to ignore this warning sign. http://www.pro-war.com/prowardotcom/...was_reall.html Regards. |

They don't not? In case you didn't know, Iraq is a Muslim nation. In case you didn't know, we don't CARE about women who wear veils. That's NOT why we are there. We went to kill at first, then it changed to "we're there to free the Iraqi people..." and THAT was to divert limited thinkers away from the fact that there are NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. It only turned into a humanitarian effort after their silly debacle backfired. Remember, Collin Powell in front of the UN and his "convincing evidence" of traveling labs? Wake up. I don't see anyone going in and helping Tibet to be free of Chinese oppression. Oh, nothing in those cold mountains. Hmmm. If he tore himself from reading to children immediately, like he should have, we might have been able to do something about the second tower. That's what a leader does. He doesn't ask God questions, then hear God's answers. I find it very frightening that we have a man running our country who says God told him he was going to be president. Holy shit Batman. Defending our freedom has always been the issue, and the freedom from being attacked again is at the top of the list. The idea that a president pre-911 would have shot down a civilian plane is absurd. Doing a monday morning QB dissection of how many seconds it should have taken to happen is meaningless. It didn't happen. Would Clinton or Gore or anyone else have done better? We won't know, and I doubt it. Even he could have, it wouldn't have changed the fact of the attempt itself. Bush didn't fly those planes, or order them to be flown into the WTC. I don't see that he should bear the blame for that, or that it absolves the attackers -- the enemy that you want to pretend don't exist -- of the responsibility for these actions. How old are you, anyway? Old enough to vote and old enough not to confuse wishful thinking with reality. Swyck |

Defending our freedom has always been the issue, and the freedom from being attacked again is at the top of the list. Please, to make it easier, leave a space between the post you are responding to. That said, Iraq didn't attack us. A Saudi Arabian man named Osama Bin Laden attacked us. His base camp was in Afghanistan, and we went in to conquer the Taliban, which we did. Case closed. All of a sudden, there was not enough recovery to do in our own country after 9-11, our president decided to go after Hussein and his weapons of mass destruction, which never existed, which they knew never existed, and to please the Bush Fedayeen and daddy Bush, we went in to "root 'em out and bring 'em on." At what expense? The expense of about 7 thousand dead Iraqi's and a thousand of our own, with virtually no support from anywhere else in the world. A scant handful of "coalition forces." Poor Tony Blair. The idea that a president pre-911 would have shot down a civilian plane is absurd. Doing a monday morning QB dissection of how many seconds it should have taken to happen is meaningless. It didn't happen. Would Clinton or Gore or anyone else have done better? We won't know, and I doubt it. Yes, Clinton would have excused himself immediately from reading to children and went into immediate action. Immediate action. However, our very slow president, who doesn't read newspapers, who was AWOL in his military service, who was a cocaine abuser, along with alcoholic, who talks to God and who hears God talk back...well, I would much prefer Clinton, either one of them, to be my president. Swyck Did you vote? I'm almost 48. I vote for everything including local City Council seats, school board representatives, local and national general elections. I didn't say we didn't have enemies. I said Osama Bin Laden was the man to find. Have we found him yet? I thought we were going to "smoke 'em out." What happened? Maybe he's with Nicole and Ron's real killers. Maybe O.J. will find him. Are you telling me that an administration which immediately removed the Saudi family on jets the moment this happened is to be trusted? Did you know that happened? Do you read anything, listen to anything other than that blathering asshole Limbaugh or Hannity? It's probably time for you to start brushing up on the truth...not these lies you are being told, sheepishly believing the words of the biggest lie in our nations history. Wake up.
