What's worse is that the government has been encouraging people to buy

There is no excuse. Kick all those republi-Nazis out of office.

So, what sort of vehicle do you drive, might I ask? Assuming you have

The Nazis were national socialists. Hitler started out as a one world
socialist, then realized that socialism would not work on a global
scale, so he added the nationalistic element. It remained a "leftist"
ideology.

You will fit the bit bucket rather well. Go ahead and claim a win if
you need an ego boost - you are not signifigent enough to bother with.

You just subscribed to rec gardens, you mean? If you mean misc
survivalism, we have been under troll attack for about half a year. I
have Mozilla and NFilter, and between them filter the trolls well
enough to totally ignore thier activities.

From the headers Google lets me find, it looks like you are using
ProNews/2 V1.53.cp050? Never heard of it. If it's a Windows based
reader,

http://www.netaxs.com/home/h/nfilter/download.html

This allows filtering almost as good as Linux.

A Google on "troll faq" is also useful.

Really? I haven't noticed any such thing. That's an outright
fabrication. That means I'm calling you a liar.

Its a shame that reducing our dependence on oil is seen as a
right-wing left-wing things and kooks like this one just get in the
way of reasonable dialogs.

Of course this is a newsgroup flame war, and that's a lot more fun
then a reasoned dialog any day.

Demi-Commies?

ROTFLMAO!

Vote for the Demi-Commies for mommy!

I like the sound of that.

At least the Demi-Commies only screw women.
The Republi-Nazis would rather screw over the whole country!!!

Neither party is interested in the combined approach -- oil exploration
(including in currently off-limits areas), alternative fuels (including
coal and nuclear), and conservation ("encouraged" by increasing fuel
taxes that can fund research or the war effort) -- that is necessary
IMHO so we can thumb our noses at the Middle East.

As long as we have a strong 2-party system (which is for the forseeable
future), we are screwed as far as a strategic energy policy.

BTW, here's an intriguing new energy source if this is really on the level:

You would think over the last 30 years we'd have been self-sufficient. However,
we sell our oil to Europe for much more than we can sell it here. That's why.

On Mon, 17 May 2004 10:46:32 -0500, zxcvbob opined:

I think we need to develop our own oil reserves and alternative fuels
and conservation so we are for the most part energy independant. Then
the "evil ragheads" as you call them can eat their oil. I think it
would be hilarious if OPEC couldn't sell their oil for $10 a barrel
because nobody wanted it.

Have you forgotten the fall of the towers already? We didn't knock
them down all by our widdol sewewvs. How about the trains in spain,
the bombing of our embassies in Africa, not to mention numerous
hijackings, murders and bombings all around the world?

Uh, why is this a mantra sung over and over by people who haven't got a clue as
to what is actually going on? Did we forget about the Twin Towers? Not any time
soon. I used to live down the block from them in Tribecca. I have about 3
friends who currently still live down there.

Have you forgotten the terrorist attacks in the UK which have been going on for
generations? What about those people? Oh, the investigators must be working
with OJ to find Nicole and Ron's murderer.

There is a world war going on that was started by islamic terrorists,
not us, and its being waged against everyone that does not buy into
their ignorant beliefs, again not just against us.

You mean Islamic fanatics. Islamic people, Muslims, are devout and lovely
people. They have deep beliefs and adhere to them. Unlike our dink for
president who claims we cannot kill babies, but it's okay to kill adults on
death row. Give ma a break.

Oh, and by the way, if gas goes to $5 dollars a gallon will you be
laughing about it all the way to the gas pump?

Not only that, the whole freaking Bin Laden clan are good friends of the
Bush family and the present administration.

Remember that there is no such thing as the tri-lateral commission and there
has been no government conspiracy cover-up.

Sorry, but no.

Al Qaeda has most definitely declared war on us.

Bin Laden issued their declaration of war on videotape, on May 26, 1998.

You do know that Bin Laden is from Saudi Arabia, don't you? Have you

educated
yourself by reading anything on the subject?

Start first by reading "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them." Then,

fill in

What are we doing in Saudi Arabia? Enlighten me.
