Indeed! This is what happened. Let's face it, for 5 (or 10, one or the other) euros a year, it is worth it. |

Dom people who are complaining of it slowing down read 'online' as it were, downloading messages they want to read as they read them I wonder (just downloading the headers first) I've never done it like that, though there was a reaosn for the facility on slow connections. I just have my software check news every 15 mins and downlaods all the new messages, so even it was slightly slower, I'd not notice anyway -- Chris French |

IMO it's excellent value. albasani, motzarella, aioe and x-privat provide free Usenet access (as did individual until they thought that they were on a winner by imposing a charge) At ¤10 luxury you can afford. The revenue funds the computer department at Berlin University. And worth every penny! I only use Motzarella because N.I.N doesn't carry a newsgroup I use. |

I've used Motzarella when I was away from home. Maybe I was unlucky but I found it unreliable. AEIOU or whatever limits the number of post you can make in 24 hours, The limit is very low. Yes it is. I don't use it very much though. |

Just recently I had my computer checked over, tidied up etc. and that was a test that was done. Have you measured the speed of your link to your ISP? The guru did and said all was well. I'm very impressed with my ISP in fact. It's NIN that's running slowly but it's not a matter of life or death! If you send e-mail to NIN mentioning your problem you will receive an answer. Will do - thanks. -- Sacha http://www.hillhousenursery.com South Devon Exotic plants, shrubs & perennials online |
