Wind?
Gales but only twigs and dead stuff blown down, quite dangerous in the
garden yesterday when all that stuff was airborne. The big Pinus radiata

we
braced last summer is still with us - we would have lost that for sure
without the cables up there.

We had had at least 3.5 inches in the last 3 days...I say at least as the
top had blown off the rain guage. Luckly the wind is drying the ground

quite
fast, but torrential squalls are damping things down again..
And to think I thought it was all over this morning.......

Went down the allotment briefly yesterday, and nothing I could actually call
damage, but plant pots etc all over the place. The purple sprouting is now
horizontal though. And there was a cat collar on one of the row marker
lines. Seems the poor thing had tried to garrotte itself.

:-((

OR

:-))

According to your point of view. I'm trying to stay neutral(ish) on that
one.

Incidentally, my spellchecker just tried to make "Pinus" into "Pinups"

LOL!

We've had a lot of twigs and branches, they'll be added to the drying pile
ready for my bread oven. Plant pots were everywhere.

(un)fortunately I found no garotted cats ...
