A daughter rang today to say that her first lamb of the year had been

born,
into a glorious sunlit spring day, the ewe choosing the sunniest spot in

the
field. The lamb walked steadily off, the ewe following her. Daughter went

to
the house for iodine and when she got back there was another ewe lamb.

This
in south Wales.

She told this delightful story while I was looking out at a pale grey day
with no sun, no blue sky, no little fluffy clouds, no green grass, no
shadows ...

nerrrrrrrrrrr indeed.

The joy of spring.............

Seeing a field in which new born lambs are frolicking or struggling to
control their wobbly little legs as they get to their feet for the first
time, and thinking.......

Hmmmmm

Mint sauce.

Bet the lamb doesn't know that a few months and it's off to the slaughterhouse!

Please refresh my memory. Is this the rise, fall and saturation of a
magnetic field in a coil of wire?

That is exactly what a Moebius loop is. We ladies use the same pattern for
a kind of hood/scarf

Does knitting one send you round the twist?

and ratings of the Royal Navy used the same method of sewing the black silk
use in the Royal Navy uniform :-))

My reference to it before with respect to the Magnetic Field of a coil of
wire and an Electric Current was incorrect. The word I was looking for there
was the Hysterisis Loop.

What a wonderful sunny day to spend in the garden getting up to date on the
Flower Borders.

That's a bit sexist isn't it? I'm not one, but there must be men who knit. I
used to crochet years ago, but you only need one "needle" for that, I
couldn't master two :-((

Not at all. We have several men in the yarn group to which I belong, but I
havn't seen a man make a Moebius yet They knit and crochet.
