wonderful people. I knew the whole family. They NEVER pushed their

I jbexed with several. None pushed it at jbex, but they did mention their

disagree with.

are you suggesting that all our lost stanley knives are irretrievably

Only temporarily, for pre-transmission processing.

Before they reappear in shedspace as a damp half-bag of cement, on which we
sit so comfortably ?

There is one working at the place I work, and, in line with your
experience, nobody has a bad word to say about him.

We played a ceilidh for one JW couple, at the pub where they'd met 30
years before. Nice bunch, but we were a little perturbed at one dance;
TLOML (who is also our caller) told them to form up in groups of five,
four in a circle and one in the middle, which they did. Then she said
that the one in the middle was the maypole and they all sat down.
Lesson learnt, we won't be referring to that one as the Maypole Dance
at any future JW things [1], we'll call it the Hot Cross Bun as we
usually do (mind you, with JWs, should it be the Hot Spike Bun?). Oh
yes, and they said grace before the buffet, something I haven't
encountered since school.

[1] Not that I expect any.

Oh, well. Are anyone's ?

Personally, these days I'm finding that the people who (occasionally) knock
on the door to see if I'm interested in their religious beliefs are a hell
of a lot less offensive than those who come trying to guilt-tripping me to
put money in their pocketsss by having me sign up to their employers'
energy-billing scam or charity brandname.

I've never, for example, had the religious ones go stomping off down the
street screaming at the top of their voices about what a bad person I am.
Power companies, yes, I have been stupid not to take their wonder short-term
profit deal. "Charities", yes, the neighbours have all been loudly informed
how I don't give a **** about all the poor children dying of starvation [1]
that I could have prevented if only they could have taken a profit on it.

JWs, no. They've learnt.

[1] Or was it the poor fluffy little whalefishes ? It may have been The
Environment. Something cuddly and not in the least resembling a slug,
anyway, and it had a logo all over its clothes. And a clipboard.
